Dan took the PADI Open Water course on holiday in 2005 and immediately loved the feeling of weightlessness, the thrill of underwater discovery and the inevitable banter.

Fast forward to 2014 and having completed a hybrid Divemaster intensive course internship in Gran Canaria two years earlier, Dan became a PADI Instructor with Aquanaut and the London IDC.

In 2019 Dan returned to the Canary Islands and spent three years teaching SCUBA and guiding dives in resort there before settling back in the UK in 2022. Luckily Aquanaut welcomed him back and he is a regular member of the teaching crew.
