Kira Evans will be explaining how Aquarium Connections designs and manages bespoke aquarium systems that have led to their support and involvement in coral restoration and research projects worldwide.
She will also discuss their comprehensive approach to advancing coral conservation through groundbreaking projects, educational outreach, and responsible stewardship.

Kira Evans is a passionate marine biologist and conservationist with an Honours degree in Zoology from the University of Edinburgh.

With a solid foundation in fisheries, coral identification, and Marine Protected Area management, she has dedicated the past two years to advancing her expertise in coral restoration and participating in locally managed marine conservation projects. This journey led her to Aquarium Connections, where she combines her marine conservation background with advanced coral husbandry techniques, utilizing state-of-the-art APEX-controlled aquarium technology to foster optimal conditions for coral health and coral spawning.

Her fieldwork in Kenya, the Cayman Islands, and Mozambique has provided her with a broad spectrum of experience and invaluable insights into the complex needs of coral ecosystems.
