How could we resist organising a trip to go play with the seals again at the Farne Islands on 7th – 9th October.

The trip will be suitable for recreational divers of all levels and is the highlight of our annual dive calendar.

What is Diving the Farnes Like?
The Farnes is one of the most exhilarating dive locations in the UK. Diving at the Farne Islands offers one of the finest underwater experiences in the UK. Mostly consisting of 30 Islands and rocky outcrops the Farne Islands is also home to one of the largest colonies of grey seals. When diving it is very common to experience a friendly encounter with one of the most treasured local attractions.

Diving:
Diving will be by boat on ‘Glad Tidings’. This is a hard boat with a lift! We will do a double boat dive Saturday afternoon, and then a double boat dive Sunday. We expect to see seals and wrecks

Each diver will need 2 cylinders. Cylinders need to be taken to the Farnes and can be rented from the Aquanaut shop.
All other kit can also be rented from the Aquanaut shop – please contact the shop for prices.

Accommodation:
Accommodation is in the village of Seahouses within walking distance of the town centre and most importantly from the pub!!
It is Hostel style but very nice and can accommodate up to 20 persons, a real bed, kitchen…
