This trip offers two days diving (4 dives) in the Lundy Marine Conversation zone.
Lundy is recognised as a top UK diving destination. The island situated at the mouth of the Bristol Channel has a variety of dive sites from natural reefs and sea caves, submerged rocky pinnacles and shipwrecks as well as fantastic seal diving.
Diving will be provided by Obsession Boat Charters. The boat provides plenty of room for divers to kit up and store kit and is equipped with a lift for ease of reboarding. The dive sites will be determined nearer the time and will be weather dependent but if anyone has a favourite site dived before then let me know.
The boat will be out all day with a typical day ropes off between 0800-1000 dependent on tides and returning 1600-1730 hours. It takes about an hour to cover the 20 miles to the island dive sites so plenty of time to check kit and take in the view and watch for dolphins! Surface intervals can also provide the opportunity to snorkel with seals. Maximum depths will be in the region of 25m.
Level: Minimum requirements Advanced Open Water/ Dry Suit/ and 10 UK dives by time of the trip – must possess and be able to deploy own DSMB.

Bed and Breakfast accommodation is provided on shared room basis at the Royal Britannia Hotel lfracombe . This hotel is located in the middle of the busy harbour and therefore close to the boarding location. Long stay parking is available nearby at very reasonable rates. Rooms have been booked for the nights of Friday the 9th and Saturday 10th. Lift sharing can be organised nearer the time.
